# Export the Audit Log

This article explains how to export the audit log to CSV for analysis, archival, or compliance reporting.

## Export the audit log to CSV

You can export audit log entries from the

Audit log

page in the Eon console.

#### Filter the audit log

Apply any filters you want to the audit log to narrow down the entries you want to export.

The CSV export includes all audit log entries that match your current filters, with no row limit.
If you don't apply any filters, the export includes all audit log entries.

#### Download

Click ** (Download CSV)** in the audit log table's toolbar.

Your browser downloads a CSV file containing the filtered audit log entries.
The export streams all matching entries, so large exports may take a few moments to complete.

The CSV file includes all audit log columns.
You can now open the CSV file in your text, spreadsheet, or analysis tool.
