# Source Account Statuses

This article is a reference of the statuses your source accounts can have in Eon.
Note that the statuses apply to individual source accounts as well as account collections, such as AWS organizations or Azure management groups.

| Display name             | API value                  | Description                                                                                                                                                               |
| ------------------------ | -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Connected                | `CONNECTED`                | The source account is connected, and Eon can back up its resources.                                                                                                       |
| Disconnected             | `DISCONNECTED`             | The source account is disconnected from Eon, and its resources will no longer be backed up. Its resources will remain in your inventory until all their snapshots expire. |
| Insufficient permissions | `INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSIONS` | Eon doesn't have sufficient permissions to work with the account and can't back up its resources. Eon will check for the right permissions at the next discovery.         |
