# Restore Microsoft 365 data

Restoring from Eon recovers Microsoft 365 data without relying on Microsoft's retention window.

This article links to the restore instructions for every Microsoft 365 service Eon supports.

Before you restore, connect a Microsoft 365 restore tenant: a connected tenant, paired with a dedicated Azure subscription, that Eon restores into.
Every Microsoft 365 restore goes only to the tenant the data was backed up from.
