Action Request Statuses

This article is a reference of the statuses an action request can have in Eon. For an overview of action approvals, see About Action Approvals.

Where the Eon API uses a value other than the display name, the API value is provided here. Some display names map to more than one API value because the request reached the same state along different paths.

Display name	API value	Description
Created	`CREATED`	The requester started a draft request but hasn’t submitted it for approval yet.
Discarded	`DISCARDED`	The requester discarded a draft request before submitting it for approval.
Pending approval	`PENDING_APPROVAL`	The request is submitted and awaiting the required approvals. Approvers can approve or deny.
Ready to apply	`APPROVED`	All required approvers approved the request. The requester can apply the action within the post-approval time period.
Denied	`DENIED`	An approver denied the request. The request is terminal and can’t be applied.
Expired	`EXPIRED_PENDING_APPROVAL`	The request didn’t receive the required approvals before the approval time period elapsed.
Expired	`EXPIRED_APPROVED`	The request was approved but the requester didn’t apply the action before the post-approval time period elapsed.
Canceled	`CANCELED_PENDING_APPROVAL`	The requester canceled the request while awaiting approval.
Canceled	`CANCELED_APPROVED`	The requester canceled the request after approval but before applying the action.
Completed	`EXECUTED`	The requester applied the approved action and it ran.
