Take On-Demand Snapshots

Anyone with these permissions: Take, convert, and hold snapshots
This article explains how to take on-demand snapshots of your resources.
Take an on-demand snapshot
To take an on-demand snapshot of a resource:

In your Inventory, click the resource you want to back up. The resource details panel opens.

In the Overview tab, click (Take on-demand snapshot). A dialog with backup options opens.

Choose the retention period and vault you want to use.

Click Take Snapshot.
Eon begins backing up the resource. You can monitor the progress in the Backup jobs in the Jobs page.
