Resource Classifications
This article is a comprehensive reference of the classifications Eon applies to your resources. In cases where the Eon API uses a value other than the display name, the API value is provided here.
Eon applies these classifications to your resources based on their properties, metadata, and data:
If you manually override any classification, Eon stops updating the classification for that resource. Reverting the override allows Eon to update the classification again.
Overriding a classification can change the backup policies, backup posture controls, and data access controls that apply to a resource.
Data classes
For RDS for PostgreSQL and Aurora PostgreSQL, data classes also decide which columns Eon can mask when you restore a database. See About Data Masking.
